2nd convocation of KUET will not be held on February 12, 2012. New date will be announced later.
As per the kind consent to present on the occassion given by the Hon'ble President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Mr. Md. Zillur Rahman, this is to notify to all concerned persons that the 2nd convocation of Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) will be held on next 12th February, 2012 Sunday at the University Campus. On the convocation, the students who have earned B.Sc. Engineering degree in the academic years 2005-2006, 2006-2007, 2007-2008, 2008-2009, 2009-2010 and earned M.Sc. Engineering, M.Phil and Ph.D. degree after 1st convocation are cordially invited and hence requested to present in this great event.
Recently, the office of the President of People's Republic of Bangladesh informed us in a letter that due to unavoidable circumstances the Hon'ble President of People's Republic of Bangladesh and the Chancellor of this University could not attend at the 2nd Convocation 2012 of Khunla University of Engineering & Technology.
However, the responsibility was handedover to the Hon'ble Minister of Education Mr. Nurul Islam Nahid to represent the Chancellor and thus preside over the convocation. In this context, the Ministry of Education has confirmed us that the Hon'ble Education Minister will attend at the Convocation as an official representative of the Hon'ble Chancellor of this university and thus preside over the convocation to conduct the responsibility given to him by the Hon'ble President of the country.
Due to unavoidable circumstances, the 2nd convocation of KUET will not be held on next 12/02/2012. The NEW DATE will be announced later. We hope that all the registered Graduates and the relevant persons will join in the Convocation at the new date with great joy and enthusiasm. We are extremely sorry for making any inconvenience to the concerned Graduates and the guests for not holding the Convocation in the earlier declared date.
